But then the COVID virus came along and everything changed. Initially, it seemed real, but soon, the nonsensical reactions of the authorities indicated that something was very wrong, and as it persisted, the apparent insanity became impossible to ignore. It became an obvious matter of necessity to document the unbelievable happenings in real time and in print, as that is more difficult to scrub from history.
