Falling Through the Madness

Falling Through the Madness

I began writing these poems as sort of a diary for myself as I felt really deep things going through the experience of living with mental health and chronic health conditions in my 20's. As I continued writing them I just kept thinking, I couldn't be the only one feeling this way. So here's to the people who feel like they're suffocating with anxiety, or the people who feel like they're drowning in their depression, like Dr.'s aren't listening to them, like people ask the worst questions for their chronic illnesses, like relationships are hard, or everything in between. I hope that maybe one of my poems will make those who suffer with mental illness feel less alone. Or for those who don't suffer with mental illness, I hope it opens your eyes to what life is like for those who do. I hope you laugh, cry, and everything in between. But most of all feel deeply.
