Emali Sallee was only nineteen years old when she was murdered by her boyfriend.

Forever 19: The Story of Emali Sallee is about Emali's life and her death, seen through the eyes of her friends and family, as well as commentary from people who know the monumental struggles faced by abused women every day.

Emali didn't make it out alive; however, we are hoping that in sharing her story, we can help prevent this tragedy from happening again.

We also hope to honor her memory, and let people get to know her a bit, because she was truly one of those rare, shining lights that we so seldom find in life. She was an amazing young woman.
